TRADITIONAL HEADDRESS IS THE IDENTITY OF THE NATION

 

Today the KYA-25 group held an open curatorial hour on the topic: «National headdress is the identity of the nation». The lesson was conducted by the senior teacher of the Department of Philology, journalism and history BerikSaimaganbetov. The event was attended by the rector of the University and teachers of the department, who expressed important opinions about the national heritage.

During the event, the history of Kazakh national headdresses, the culture of clothing that dates back to the Saka period, and the classification of headdresses such as turbans, boriks, saukeles, and kimesheks based on age, gender, and social status were discussed in detail. The superstitions associated with the tumak, the traditions of wearing feathers, and the ruar features and ethnographic data were also of interest.

According to the participants, the session was held at a high level. Through the use of national clothing, we were able to gain a deeper understanding of the history and spiritual culture of our people.
