«NATIONAL CLOTHING IS A SPIRITUAL HERITAGE»

On November 20, 2025 the Kyzylorda «Bolashak» University held an educational event on the topic «National Clothing is a Spiritual Heritage», organized by students and faculty members of the Department of Economics, Audit, Business and Management. The main goal of this event was to promote the national clothing of the Kazakh people, to introduce the history of its origin and age-related differences, to reveal the cultural and social significance of men's and women's headwear.

During the event the students were shown a specially prepared video slide that provided more information about traditional Kazakh headwear, such as saukele, kimeshek, zhaulyk, turban, borik, and tymak. The history, age-appropriate use, decorative and educational significance of each headwear were explained in simple terms.The images and brief information in the video slide sparked the students' interest.

Students learned about the ornaments of clothing, used fabrics, features of production and the meaning of consumption times and realized that they are not just decorative products, but reflect the traditions, way of life and cultural and spiritual values of our people.

The activity of students was clearly manifested: they discussed the information in the video, exchanged views, asked questions and openly showed their interest in the national culture. He also mastered previously unknown information and understood the historical significance and features of each national costume. This event made a great contribution to the spiritual and cultural development of students, strengthening patriotic feelings and forming respect for the cultural values of their people.
