CELEBRATION OF THE YEAR OF VOLUNTEERS AT THE BOLASHAK UNIVERSITY

    By the decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokaev, 2020 is declared the Year of the Volunteer. In this regard, on February 1, 2020, in honor of the grand opening of the year of volunteers, the Bolshak University amphitheater hosted the solemn event "Together!" The event was attended by students of the Higher College and the Bolashak Higher Medical College.

The purpose of the event is to popularize and promote the volunteer movement among young people, provide more information about volunteering and promote an active lifestyle with the involvement of young people in volunteering. As special guests of the event, the head of the regional department for youth policy issues Zhanuzakov Kuanysh Kuantkanovich and the head of the regional headquarters of volunteers and the public fund “Volunteers of Kyzylorda” Olga Chebakova were invited.

The rector of the university, Kuanysh Daurenbekov, congratulated the youth on the beginning of the Year of Volunteers and emphasized that this year the 175th anniversary of Abai, the 1150th anniversary of Al-Farabi and the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory will be widely celebrated.

 It is worth noting that the Bolashak University has a volunteer club called Mercy. The goal of the club is to promote and promote the volunteer movement among young people, help those in need, etc. The club has about 80 registered volunteers. All of them take an active part in the republican project “Student Social Credit”.

At the end, the presenters Sultanbek Kelzhanov and Aruzhan Dosmagambet called on young people to join the club of volunteers and become active members. The event was accompanied by funny songs and modern dances.
