INTERNATIONALIZATION AND INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT

 

International cooperation and internationalization is an integral part of the activities of Bolashak University, as well as an important tool in ensuring the quality of education and its compliance with international standards. It is carried out within the framework of cooperation programs with leading foreign universities in Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, etc.

To date, the university has signed 18 international cooperation agreements as of the 2023 academic year, with 17 foreign partners from 6 countries of the world:

1 Agreement on scientific and educational cooperation between the Tashkent State Agrarian University (Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent);

2 Agreement on scientific and educational cooperation between the Tashkent Financial Institute (Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent);

3 Agreement on scientific and educational cooperation between the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami (Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent);

4 Cooperation Agreement between the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization of Higher Education "International Police Academy of the VPA" (Tula, Russian Federation);

5 Memorandum of Cooperation between Ufa State Petroleum Technical University (Ufa, Russian Federation);

6 Cooperation Agreement between the Samara State Technical University (Samara, Russian Federation);

7 Agreement on scientific and educational cooperation between the Autonomous Non-profit Organization of Higher Education "University at the Interparliamentary Assembly of EurAsEC" (Russian Federation, St. Petersburg);

8 Memorandum of Understanding between the Non-profit Educational institution UNPC "International University of Kyrgyzstan" "MUK" (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan);

9 Memorandum of Cooperation between the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) (Moscow, Russian Federation);

10 Cooperation Agreement between the Khmelnytsk Cooperative Trade and Economic Institute (Ukraine);

11 Memorandum of Understanding between Varna University of Management (Bulgaria, Varna);

12 Memorandum of Understanding between Oxford Business College, (Oxford, UK) (Oxford, UK);

13 Agreement on international cooperation between the Non-governmental educational Private Institution of Higher Education "Moscow Medical Institute" (Russian Federation, Moscow);

14 Cooperation Agreement between the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "State University of Management" (Moscow, Russian Federation);

15 Cooperation Agreement between Omsk State Medical University (Omsk, Russian Federation);

16 Cooperation Agreement between Shynzhan University (China, Urimshi);

17 Memorandum of mutual cooperation with the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi (RK, Turkestan);

18 Agreement on cooperation in the scientific, scientific, technical and educational sphere between the Central Research Institute of the National Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Saratov, Russian Federation).

Within the framework of agreements with these universities, the implementation of international educational programs and projects, the implementation of joint research activities, the organization of scientific and practical seminars and conferences, the exchange of teaching staff and the development of external academic mobility are planned.

Thanks to the academic mobility program, students and teaching staff of Bolashak University are working on going to study at partner universities in the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation.

 

The main activities of Internationalization and innovative development

 

• Development, conclusion and implementation of agreements on cooperation in the field of education and science with foreign partners;

• Preparation and provision of information on international grants, scholarships;

• Organization and coordination of external academic mobility and double-degree education programs;

• Cooperation in attracting teaching staff from foreign countries to teaching and research activities;

• Consulting support of structural divisions and students of the university on issues of international cooperation;

• Assistance in the preparation of conferences, symposiums, seminars, round tables with the participation of foreign partners, protocol support.

Internationalization is a key element in achieving and establishing the status of a world — class university. Internationalization of higher education is characterized by the level of academic mobility of students and teachers, internationalization of curricula and programs.

 

Academic mobility of the student

 

Academic mobility of a student is the transfer of a student to study or conduct research for a certain academic period (semester or academic year) to another higher educational institution (within the country or abroad) with mandatory transfer of mastered educational curricula in the form of credits at his higher educational institution or to continue his studies at another higher educational institution.

The main goal of academic mobility is to ensure the quality of Kazakhstan's higher education in accordance with international standards, to increase its competitiveness. This program provides an opportunity for training and scientific activity of students and teachers in foreign partner universities. Academic mobility programs are designed for a limited period, usually for a semester or academic year.

 

Participation in mobility programs gives students a number of promising opportunities and advantages

 

• gain invaluable international experience in the scientific and educational field;

• expand professional knowledge and practical skills;

• get useful language practice;

• gain experience of learning and communication in an international cross-cultural group.

Double—degree education is the possibility of parallel study in two (or more) universities under a joint educational program, followed by obtaining diplomas from relevant educational institutions. One of the priority directions of the integration of the Kazakh higher school into the international educational space is certainly a double-degree education.

Foreign partner universities

 

Bolashak University conducts and develops international cooperation and has 18 international cooperation agreements with 17 foreign partners from 6 countries of the world.

The agreements regulate the issues of academic mobility of students and teaching staff, teaching students under the program of double-degree education, guest lectures by leading scientists, as well as the invitation of co-heads of PhD doctoral students and undergraduates under the program of attracting foreign scientists, the implementation of joint research, research internships of doctoral students, etc.
