Yesterday, the Head of State, who arrived in Almaty on an official visit, met with scientists and heads of universities.

In his speech, the Head of State noted: "In addition, Kazakhstan intends to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060. However, to do this, we need to deeply transform the economy. This complex process goes hand in hand with great challenges," he said, adding that all the positive and negative aspects of scientific development are in the hands of Kazakhstanis.

Further: "To create a common economy based on knowledge, it is important to ensure close ties between scientific institutions and business. In the course of this work, innovative clusters, technology parks and business incubators will be opened, which will allow scientific ideas to be transformed into commercially successful products. Such structures should support relevant projects at all stages - from the idea to its implementation on the market," the President emphasized.

«The development of domestic healthcare is reflected in the average life expectancy of the population. In Kazakhstan, this milestone has exceeded 75 years. But according to this indicator, we are decades behind the leading countries of the world. This is one of the goals we are striving for» he said.

We often say that conditions for scientists need to be created. This is not an empty word. The state is doing real work. In the next two years, the number of grants allocated for research by young scientists will increase again. 18 billion tenge will be allocated from the budget.

Last year, 284 young scientists received housing. This year, on the instructions of the President of the country, another 200 apartments will be provided. We are confident that thanks to such specific measures, the work to support science and the scientific community in the country will continue in the future.

The future goals of Kazakhstani scientists, inspired by the constructive thoughts and ideas of the President on how to develop their fields and how to achieve success, must be high. After all, the Head of State has shown a bright path: "To achieve success, be a master of your craft."

The rector of Bolashak University, D. B. Dosmanbetov, took part in this event. The Rector of the University is confident that starting from the coming academic year, the President's instructions will be fulfilled flawlessly, and the New Century will become only the century of science and civilization.
