THE INNOFEST COMPETITION WAS HELD

2,500 young people and about 250 teams took part in the INNOFEST competition, organized by the Kyzylorda Hub business incubator with the support of the akim of the region, the Information Technology Center and the Korkyt University of Kyzylorda.

In addition to the youth of the region, the festival participants defended projects in the areas of «SmartCity», «Content&Design», «Cinema &Video». Inno.Fest» Qyzylorda is an ideal platform for youth development, sharing experiences with the youth of each region, just like themselves, at an event aimed at creating a project from idea to prototype in a day.

The main goal of the festival is to support new innovative ideas necessary for the development of the region, provide an opportunity to finance projects for young people interested in the IT field, and release new names.

The participants of the competition presented several projects: a digital lesson plan, phone scams, smart tourism, a talking alphabet and successfully defended the prizes.

The event was attended by First Vice Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanysh Amanbaevich Tuleushin, Deputy head of the regional Akim's office Yerlan Bakirov, who noted that the head of the region always supports young people who contribute to the development of the IT sector, this is the main goal of the digitalization policy in the country.

When there is a demand for artificial intelligence in the global market, new projects of qualified and educated youth are always relevant for us.

Within the framework of the festival, 9 projects were recognized as the best. Financial rewards with a total prize fund of 3 million tenge were distributed to them. Each winning team was awarded financial certificates for the first place - 500,000 tenge, the second place - 300,000 tenge, the third place-200,000 tenge.

In addition, 10 educational grants from republican universities were awarded to participants who distinguished themselves with special projects.

The festival, aimed at maximum support for educated youth, was held for the 4th time. Over the past 4 years, about 9 thousand participants have been registered and presented their projects.

The best projects of the Festival were determined and awarded by the jury.  Our grants from the rector of «Bolashak» University were awarded to Skendir Zhasular in the «SmartCity» section, Bimuratova Gulsezim Sakenovna in the «Content& Design» section and Almanatovna Karakat in the «Cinema&Video» section.
