A GUEST LECTURE WAS HELD AT KYZYLORDA«BOLASHAK» UNIVERSITY ON THE TOPIC: «EVOLUTION OF DIDACTIC SYSTEMS: FROM CLASSICAL CANONS TO THE DIGITAL LEARNING PARADIGM»

 

On April 6, 2023, at Kyzylorda «Bolashak» University, the Department of «Philology, Journalism, and History» organized a guest lecture by Professor Sh.M. Maigeldiyeva, Doctor of Education, from Korkyt Ata University of Kyzylorda. The topic of the lecture was «Evolution of Didactic Systems: From Classical Canons to the Digital Learning Paradigm».

The lecture discussed the transformation of education in the 21st century, the transition from traditional didactics to digital didactics, the object-subject model of learning, interactivity and the principles of Lifelong Learning. In particular, the importance of individual learning, functional literacy, and 4K skills (critical thinking, creativity, communication, and cooperation) is widely discussed in modern education.

Through digital platforms (PLP, PLE, PLN, OER) educational processes are personalised and adapted to the individual objectives and tempo of the student. In addition, the lecture highlighted the new role of the teacher – to become a navigator on in formation resources, the online moderation model and universal learning design (UDL).

In conclusion, the professor noted the importance of combining traditional and digital methods of Education, Lifelong Learning, and using innovative technologies to improve the quality of education in the XXI century.
