DEBATES WERE HELD ON THE TOPIC: SHOULD CHILDREN WITH AUTISM BE FULLY ADAPTED TO SOCIETY, OR SHOULD SOCIETY ADAPT TO THEM?»

 

Today, the Department of Special Pedagogy and Psychology, in collaboration with the «AsylMiras» Support Center for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders under the Education Department of the Kyzylorda Region, organized a debate among students of the 6B020 – «Special Pedagogy» educational program on the topical issue: «Should children with autism be fully adapted to society, or should society adapt to them?»

During the debate, students comprehensively discussed the issues of building an inclusive society, scientifically substantiated their viewpoints, and demonstrated a high level of public speaking skills and critical thinking.

This event served as an important platform aimed not only at enhancing students’ professional competencies, but also at promoting the values of inclusive education within society.
